Based on patented PerQuat® technology, Sterilex Ultra Disinfectant Cleaner Solution 1 + Sterilex Ultra Activator Solution is EPA registered to remove biofilm and destroy bacteria associated with biofilm formation on non-porous surfaces. Both “biofilm removal” and “biofilm kill” are terms regulated by the EPA.
The “biofilm kill” claim refers only to the control of bacteria within a biofilm and applies only to the specific microorganisms indicated on the individual product label.
The “biofilm removal” statement corresponds to the removal of the biofilm structure from hard surfaces.
